I just bought this program called DivePlan for my Sony P800; it’s very nice and the results are pretty close to DPlan. Now I can get rid of my PalmPilot for good, this was the last application that I needed to finally cut the Palm cord.
I have a Sony P800 smart phone, this app is cool because it does deco, air top offs (really nice for that second dive) and gas blending. It has ZHL/GF/VPM-B and gas blending in one app!
The only gripe with Diveplan is really a gripe with UIQ, the “windows like” user interface that runs on Symbian operating system, the P800 is a Symbian OS phone. UIQ is not as easy to use as Palm but that’s a small gripe about the phone overall.
Not having to carry my Palm for mixing or diving, is the big winner here.
