Bill Reals has being diving since 1989 and is an avid wreck diver, cave diver and technical diver. Bill moved around as a youth but planted roots behind the "Orange Curtain" in beachy Orange County, CA and spent his spare time in and around the beaches you see on TV. He pays the bills as a project manager at a software company and is director of San Diego Underwater Explorers. Composed of educators, explorers and conservationists, this group not only conducts exploration but also is interested in developing projects for local and state governments focusing on diver safety. He lives in San Diego with his wife April and their 3 rescued dogs. He dives predominately in the Southern California area and enjoys practicing his underwater videography in the extensive cave system of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico.
