I’m just a diver like everyone else. I’ve been diving long enough to be called experienced but I consider myself a newbie, I learn something every dive.

Some of the classes I have taken from GUE include DIR-F, Tech1, Tech2, Cave1, Cave2, and a range of NSS-CDS, NACD, PADI & NAUI.

I adhere to the DIR concept of diving, which to say I take a holistic approach to scuba diving. Some of the defining characteristics include an emphasis on teamwork, environmental awareness, and the use of highly optimized and streamlined, yet simple and versatile, equipment configuration.

However, I don’t get involved in finger pointing or name calling of other’s who don’t adhere to these tenets, I just want to do cool dives where I come back safely and I’ve found this to be the best system to accomplish this goal.
